Washington: Iran is very close to making a nuclear weapon

US Central Command chief Kenneth McKenzie said Iran is very close to making a nuclear weapon.

He added in a statement to the American Time magazine that his forces are ready for a possible military option in the event of the failure of talks between world powers and Iran on the nuclear agreement, which is scheduled to resume in Vienna on November 29.

And the US commander added, in this regard, that “Iran is very close” to making a nuclear weapon, recalling the position of his country’s administration on that.

“Our president said they’re not going to get a nuclear weapon,” he said. “Diplomats are now in the lead on this.

But the Central Command always has a set of plans that we can implement if directed to do so.”
