Emir of Qatar receives Turkish President in official ceremonies


The Emir of the State of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, received Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the capital, Doha, in an official reception ceremony.


The reception took place at the Emiri Diwan, where the national anthems of both countries were played, then the two leaders reviewed the guard of honor before each presented their country’s delegation.

After the official reception ceremony was completed, the bilateral meeting between Erdogan and the Emir of Qatar began.

Yesterday, Erdogan began an official visit to Qatar, accompanied by his wife, Amina, and the Ministers of Trade, Mehmet Muş, and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Bakir Pakdemirli.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, in addition to the head of the Presidency Communication Department, Fahrettin Altun.


The President of the Defense Industries Corporation in the presidency, Ismail Demir, the presidential spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, and the head of religious affairs, Ali Arbash.
