It entered the port of Buschnya Kofu in Sakhalin, and as a result, diesel fuel leaked from it into the sea water. “

The directorate added in a statement that “the district’s crisis management center received information on Friday evening.”

It is reported that the Chinese vessel Haisheng Harmony collided with a buoy when entering the cargo terminal at Bochnyakovo Port.

The accident resulted in the emergence of a gap in one of the ship’s fuel tanks, which caused quantities of it to leak into the sea water, according to the same source.

The directorate stated that “the station workers and the ship’s crew have extended their encircling arms to prevent the spread of fuel stains, while the fuel slick is being treated with absorbent material.”

The statement also confirmed, “There were no injuries as a result of the accident, while fuel leakage from the ship, which is still floating, has been stopped.”

A video clip published by the “Russia Today” website monitored the moments of diesel leakage into the sea.
