Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met a number of his counterparts on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Çavuşoğlu said in a tweet on Wednesday that he met with his Spanish counterparts Jose Manuel Alparis, Germany’s Annalina Birbock and India’s Subramaniam Jaishankar.
“I discussed with my Spanish counterpart the latest developments in Ukraine, grain exports and the expansion of NATO,” he added.
He continued, “I discussed visa issues, problems in the Aegean Sea, and the latest developments in Ukraine with German Foreign Minister Annalina Birbock.”
He indicated that he discussed ways to develop Turkish-Indian relations with Jaishankar.
The Turkish Foreign Minister also met with the High Representative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Miguel Angel Moratinos.
