Turkey.. Saint Thomas Monastery attracts lovers of archeology


St. Thomas Monastery in the district of Cevaş in the eastern province of Van, Turkey, receives large numbers of visitors who are lovers of history and archeology.


The historical monastery is located in the village of “Altin Sach” at an altitude of two thousand meters above sea level, and it is believed that the date of its construction dates back to the eleventh century.

The monastery receives visitors throughout the year from several countries.
