On Tuesday, Turkish gendarmerie forces arrested 300 irregular migrants in Van province (east).
It was reported that the Van gendarmerie carried out an operation to prevent the smuggling of migrants in the Children district in the light of intelligence information.

He explained that the forces stopped a truck as part of the operation, and seized 264 Afghans, 30 Pakistanis, and 6 Iranians in its trailer.
It also arrested 4 people suspected of smuggling irregular migrants.
The migrants, exhausted from lack of oxygen and starvation, underwent a medical examination, and gendarmerie teams distributed water and food to them.
