Sudden malfunction stops Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp apps

A sudden technical failure resulted in the suspension of the “Facebook”, “Instagram” and “WhatsApp” applications owned by Facebook.

The website “Downdetector” said that “users have reported the three applications crashing suddenly around the world.”

The site added that it “received complaints about the failure of the three applications as of 15:45 GMT.”

For its part, Facebook said it “recognizes that some people are having trouble accessing its apps and products.”

“We are working to get things back to normal as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” she said in a tweet on her official Twitter account.

The company that owns the three applications did not indicate the cause of the technical failure or the period during which it is expected to be fixed.
