Turkish security arrests 9 suspected of promoting “PKK” organization


On Thursday, Turkish security arrested 9 people suspected of promoting the “PKK/KGK” terrorist organization in the southern state of Mersin.


The security teams carried out simultaneous raids targeting several addresses to arrest 10 people.

The aforementioned persons are suspected of promoting the organization through social media and were arrested as part of the investigations launched by the Public Prosecution.


The operations resulted in the arrest of 9 suspects working in the Mersin municipality, while the security forces continued to search for the tenth suspect.
