Turkish company TAI wins 33 awards for its inventions


Turkish Industry won 33 awards including 3 gold, 11 silver, and 18 bronze at Istanbul International Invention Fair 2021.

According to the statement issued by the Turkish Aerospace Industry Corporation (TUSAŞ), the Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF) Awards found their holders at the event held within TEKNOFEST.


TAI has also won the National Prize of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) within the scope of ISIF.

The company won a WIPO award for its patented ANKA software-assisted braking system.

On the other hand, “One Welding System” is within the scope of a new generation of thermoplastic production methods.

In addition to the “One Shooting System” intended for use in attack helicopters.

And the “Landing Gear” system used in ANKA’s armed unmanned aerial vehicle was found, earning the company 3 gold awards.

Having achieved significant success in the ISIF Awards, TUSAŞ General Manager Temel Kotil said, “We continue to add high value to the future of the independent and unique defense industry through the work we do.

TAI aims to develop national and international patents and utility models based on 100 advanced technologies.

In addition to spending more than 3 billion TL on research and development by the end of the year with more than 3 thousand employees in the field of research and development.
