Turkish coast guard rescues 84 irregular migrants

On Tuesday, Turkish Coast Guard crews rescued 84 irregular migrants off the coast of Marmaris district in the southwestern Mugla state.

It was said that the coast guard crews went to the area after receiving a report that there were irregular migrants on board two inflatable boats and three life rafts.

It was explained that the crews rescued the migrants, who turned out to be the Greek side who pushed their boats towards Turkish territorial waters.

It was pointed out that the crews referred the migrants to the Immigration Directorate in the state after they were expelled.
