Turkey 7 Gulen members arrested while trying to flee to Greece

On Friday, Turkish Coast Guard teams arrested 9 people, including 7 members of the “Gülen” terrorist organization, while they were trying to flee to the Greek island of Medellin (Lesbos) from the state of Balıkesir (west).

According to security sources, the coast guard teams had spotted in Turkish territorial waters a boat heading towards Medellin Island.

The sources indicated that the teams transferred to the Turkish mainland 9 people who were on the boat.

She pointed out that the Turkish police in the town of “Ayvalk” in Balıkesir state, upon reviewing their identities, revealed that 7 of them were members of the Gülen terrorist organization.

The other two were arrested on suspicion of facilitating the smuggling of the seven to Greece.
