On Sunday, dozens of demonstrators participated in a march in Istanbul, Turkey, to protest the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

The march started from Siraj Khana Park in the Fatih area, with the participation of women, children and men carrying Palestinian and Turkish flags in their hands.

The demonstrators also marched towards Beyazit Square, chanting slogans denouncing the Israeli attacks and demanding that Gaza’s children be protected from attacks.

In Beyazit Square, some participants recited verses from the Holy Quran, and the march ended with prayers for the victims of Gaza.

As of Sunday, the war on Gaza left “27,365 martyrs and 66,630 injured, most of them children and women,” according to the Palestinian authorities, and caused “massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to the United Nations.
