Forest fires in Kazakhstan have spread to the city

A forest fire broke out in eastern Kazakhstan, 35 houses were burned in the fire that spread to the city of Ridder, one person died and two were injured.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kazakhstan, a fire broke out in a forest of 300 hectares in the east of the country this evening.

In the fire, which spread in the city of Ridder due to wind speed, one person died and two people were seriously injured.

The fire, which torched 35 homes, resulted in the evacuation of the city’s residents to the safe zone.

The 208-person fire brigade and Mi-8 and Mi-2 helicopters also continue to return fire.

According to preliminary information, the fire was reported to have started due to neglect in the forest.
