Turkish Karabük sends aid to flood victims in Pakistan

The Turkish state of Karabük sent humanitarian and food aid to the victims of the floods that struck areas in Pakistan months ago.

The aid included foodstuffs and detergents collected with donors’ money in the Turkish state.

The aid convoy set off in front of one of the Red Crescent centers in Karabük.

The Wali of Karabük, his deputy, and the Director of Trade and Industry in the state, in addition to donors, participated in the ceremony of sending aid.

The worst monsoon rains ever hit Pakistan for months starting in mid-June, damaging or washing away two million homes.
