Turkey: 3 belonging to the “Gülen organization” were arrested

The Turkish authorities have arrested 3 people suspected of belonging to the “Gülen” terrorist organization while they were trying to flee towards Greece.

Security sources said on Sunday that security forces arrested the three suspects near the Greek border in the northwestern Edirne province.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish authorities arrested 4 suspects of belonging to the “Gülen” terrorist organization, while they were also trying to flee towards Greece.

On July 15, 2016, Turkey witnessed a military coup attempt carried out by limited elements of the army affiliated with the “Gülen” organization.

The coup attempt was met with massive popular protests in most Turkish cities and states, forcing the putschists to withdraw their military vehicles from the cities and thwarting their plan.
