Turkey.. 11 migrants rescued off the coast of Çanakkale

On Thursday, Turkish coast guard teams rescued 11 irregular migrants off the coast of the western province of Çanakkale.

The teams spotted a rubber boat carrying irregular migrants off the coast of Aywajik region.

The teams headed to the location of the boat and were able to rescue 11 migrants, and it was found that the Greek coast guard pushed them into Turkish territorial waters.

The teams referred the migrants to the Alien Repatriation Center in the Ayvacik region.
