The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has announced that more than 2.3 million Ukrainian refugees have crossed into neighboring countries since the Russian military intervention on February 24.

It added in a statement on Thursday that 2,316 million Ukrainian refugees have crossed into neighboring countries since the beginning of the military intervention until March 8.
The statement indicated that most of the Ukrainian refugees have moved to Poland.
And earlier, the High Commissioner warned that about 4 million civilians may flee in the event of an escalation of the situation in Ukraine.
