Turkey, Arresting 22 irregular migrants in the Hatay province

On Monday, Turkish authorities arrested 22 irregular migrants in the southern province of Hatay.

The process of arresting immigrants who entered the country illegally was carried out in a “special” district.

It was explained that the State Security Directorate had received information about the existence of a smuggling operation in the aforementioned district.

Security teams stopped a minibus and checked the identities of the passengers, to find that 22 people had entered the country by irregular means.

The irregular migrants were taken to the Immigration Department in Hatay State to take the necessary measures against them.
