The Turkish Red Crescent distributes aid to Kabul Airport employees

The Turkish Red Crescent Society distributed 1,850 parcels of food aid to the employees of Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan.

This came during a ceremony held on Saturday with the participation of the Turkish ambassador to Kabul, Jihad Arginai, and the Director General of the airport, Abdul Hadi Hamdan.

Officials from the “Taliban” government, the Turkish Red Crescent and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) also participated in the ceremony.

The aid arrived in Afghanistan as part of the fourth Turkish “good train” and included various foodstuffs that were distributed to the needy.

In a speech during the ceremony, Ambassador Arginai said that the aid sent from Turkey via the “Train of Goodness” reaches all parts of Afghanistan.

He explained that the “Train of Goodness” campaign has so far delivered about 5,000 tons of aid to Afghanistan on board 4 trains.
