The Istanbul Stock Exchange Index (BIST100) recorded the highest daily closing ever, with 7,600.65 points.
The index closed today’s trading with gains of 2.54%, an increase of 188.45 points compared to the previous close.
The total volume of transactions amounted to 174.9 billion liras (the US dollar is equivalent to about 27 Turkish liras).

The banking sector index rose by 8.70 percent, while the holding companies index rose 2.23 percent.
The financial leasing and discounting index was the most profitable by 9.36 percent, while the informatics index was the most declining by 2.12 percent.
