Erdogan congratulates Muslims on the Islamic new year


Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated his people and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the Islamic New Year.

In a tweet published on Sunday evening via Twitter, Erdogan said: “I congratulate from the bottom of my heart my people and the entire Islamic nation on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1443.”


He added: “I ask God Almighty to bring him back to all humanity with security and peace.”

Erdogan’s tweet included a picture of the Hagia Sophia mosque in Istanbul.
