Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the addition of a new ship to his country’s fleet for energy exploration, bringing the number to 4 ships.
This came in a speech he delivered on Wednesday during a meeting of the Prosecution bloc of his “Justice and Development” party in the Turkish Parliament in the capital, Ankara.
“Developed countries are on the brink of the largest economic depression since World War II,” Erdogan noted.
“It is clear that this will be followed by social and political crises,” he added.
He stressed that his government is determined to remove the high-interest scourge from its people.
