Derya Yanik, Minister of Family and Social Services, made a statement regarding the cancellation of the French Council of Europe’s campaign against discrimination against veiled women.
Minister Yannick said in a statement on Twitter: “We are watching with concern the discourse and actions restricting women’s rights and the veil that is spreading in Europe.

We find the democratic rhetoric of countries that do not even tolerate the mention of the loss of Muslim women’s rights with regard to their beliefs and clothing is inconsistent.”
