Turkish Ambassador to Uganda Fikret Karamalp on Monday inaugurated an orphanage established with the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency “TIKA”.

In a speech during the opening, Alp made it clear that 200 children can live in the orphanage safely.
He pointed out that the house was completed with the support of TIKA, stressing that this step shows that Turkey is the true brother of (Uganda) in hardship and ease.

He pointed out that the orphanage includes halls, play areas and a mosque.
