Turkey recorded a record number of agricultural sector exports during the first eight months of this year, amounting to about $18 billion.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Council on Saturday, exports of the agricultural sector increased by 20.5 percent from January to August 2021 compared to the same period last year.

It explained that the value of the agricultural sector confiscated during the mentioned period amounted to 17 billion and 950 million dollars, breaking previous records.
It added that agricultural exports during the first eight months of 2021 accounted for 12.8 percent of the total Turkish exports during the same period.
It pointed out that Turkey’s total exports increased by 52 percent last August, compared to the same month last year, and amounted to $18.9 billion.
