On Monday, the Turkish national team met its Iranian counterpart in the women’s volleyball final at the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, central Turkey.
Turkey’s women won the gold after defeating Iran by three games to no return.

Last Tuesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially inaugurated the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games hosted by Konya and will continue until August 18.
