UN, 900,000 vaccinate children at ages between 5 and 11 within a week

After the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine was approved for use in the 5-11 age group in the United States, nearly 900,000 children in this age group were vaccinated in the first week.

Jeff Zentes, the White House coordinator on the coronavirus, provided information about vaccination at the daily press briefing.

After approval by the US Centers for Disease Control on November 2, Zenitz reported, nearly 900,000 children were vaccinated in the first week.

And that nearly 700,000 children made an appointment and waited for the day of the vaccination.

There are approximately 28 million children aged 5-11 in the United States.
