The Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination “TIKA” restored a classroom in the Turkish Language and Literature Department of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zagreb in the Croatian capital.
TIKA coordinator in Zagreb Sadaf Bulut said in a speech during the opening on Wednesday that the hall will not only serve the students of the Turkish Language and Literature Department, but also all the college students.
She pointed out that the restoration work ended last year, but the opening ceremony was postponed due to the Corona pandemic.
In turn, the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Milenko Gurkovic said that TIKA had restored the walls, equipment and devices of the hall, making it an ideal place for students to learn.
For her part, Head of the Turkish Language and Literature Department, Azra Abad Zik Navai, indicated that TIKA has completed important projects in the field of education.
She added that she conducted a visit to Turkey in 2019 in cooperation with TIKA, during which she was briefed on the nature of the work of the Turkish language and literature departments there.
