Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez announced Thursday that exploration activities in the eastern Mediterranean will be completed within 45-60 days.

This came during his participation in a meeting in the capital, Ankara.
On the use of natural gas discovered in the Black Sea, Donmez said that the ministry is constructing a power base at a depth of 2,200 meters below the surface of the waters of the Black Sea.
He added that natural gas extracted from the Black Sea will start to be used in March 2023.

He expected that Turkey would not face a problem with its natural gas reserves.
