Turkish intelligence has neutralized the leading terrorist of the YPG/PKK organization, Hasan Demirtaş, in the Ain al-Arab region, northern Syria.

According to information from security sources, Demirtas, nicknamed “Kucher Batman”, was the head of the so-called Ain al-Arab region.
It added that the terrorist joined the organization in 2011 and participated in various activities against the Turkish security forces in the southeastern provinces of Hakkari and Tungeli.

It added that the terrorist moved to northern Iraq in 2014, and then became the organization’s official in Jarablus, Syria in 2016, and Ain al-Arab in 2019.
