Turkish Foreign Ministry celebrates the partnership with Romania

On Sunday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry celebrated the announcement of the strategic partnership agreement with neighboring Romania on the 10th anniversary of its signing.

In its statement, the Foreign Ministry affirmed its intention to move forward in strengthening relations with Romania, especially in the strategic dimension of the agreement, in order to face the current challenges.

Good-neighborly relations with Romania, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, constitute a model for countries in the region and contribute to enhancing stability and prosperity in the Balkans and the Black Sea basin.

The statement referred to the security cooperation between the two countries under the umbrella of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
