Turkish Football: Trabzonspor beat Sivasspor with two goals to one

Trabzonspor defeated its guest Sivasspor 2-1 on Monday in the second round of the Turkish Super League.

Greek Anastasios Pacasitas put the hosts ahead in the 15th minute from the penalty spot, then Nigerian Anthony Nwakaime added the second goal in the 47th minute.

Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Kofi scored the only goal for Sivasspor in the 70th minute after a missed penalty kick by Ivorian Max Cardiol.

In the opening round, Trabzonspor defeated Malatyaspor by five goals to one, raising its score to 6 points, taking it to second place with a goal difference from Altay.

On the other hand, Sivasspor suffered its second loss in a row and remained without credit after losing the first round at home and among its fans against Konyaspor with two goals to one.
