Turkish Defense announces the martyrdom of two soldiers in northern Iraq


On Sunday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the martyrdom of two soldiers and the injury of two others in clashes with terrorists during the “Claw-Lock” operation in northern Iraq.


And it explained in a statement that Sergeant Omar Yildirim and Corporal Muhammed Ali Chab were martyred in clashes with terrorists in the area of ​​the “Claw-Lock” operation.

The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the two martyrs, the armed forces and the Turkish people in general, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured soldiers.

On Saturday, the ministry announced the death of two soldiers as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted by the terrorist PKK organization in the area of ​​the “claw-lock” operation.


On April 18, Turkey launched the “claw-lock” operation against the strongholds of the “PKK” terrorist organization in the areas of Matina, Zab and Afshin-Basian in northern Iraq.
