Turkish authorities rescue 58 migrants in the northwest of the country

On Thursday, the Turkish authorities rescued 58 irregular migrants off the coast of the Ayvalik district of the northwestern Balikesir state.

And the Turkish Coast Guard command teams received information about the presence of migrants on a rubber boat off Aywaliq and carried out an operation in the area.

He explained that the teams found 58 migrants whose nationalities could not be identified and transported them to land.

The teams provided medical and food aid to the migrants and then referred them to the Directorate of Immigration in Balikesir to take the necessary measures.
