On Sunday, Turkish gendarmerie forces arrested 27 irregular migrants in the northwestern province of Kocaeli.
Security sources said that gendarmerie forces discovered 27 irregular migrants in a vehicle in the area.

The sources added that the migrants entered the country in an irregular manner, and 18 of them hold the citizenship of Afghanistan, 8 of Syria, and 5 of Iran.
It confirmed that the migrants were sent to the Migration Department in Kocaeli to complete legal procedures against them.
