Pilots, cabin crew and loading experts working for Turkish Airlines (THY) have started getting the coronavirus vaccine.
According to a statement issued by the Turkish Airlines Consulting Company, 16,256 individuals on board an active flight were reported to the Ministry of Health’s vaccination system.

The statement stated that the teams that received the vaccine will not be assigned to flights for a period of 48 hours, according to the circular issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, and their health status will be closely monitored.
It was mentioned that the names of 2,250 ground workers who can contact the passengers and the plane, as well as staff on the flights, have also been transferred to the vaccination system.
It was also noted that Turkish Airlines took the necessary measures at every stage of the flight with regard to the health of its passengers and crew.
