Turkey begins the journey into space.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey has shared Turkey’s national space plan for the next 10 years.
One of the most striking elements of the national 10-year space plan that generated great enthusiasm was “to send a Turkish citizen into space”.

1- The primary and most important goal of the national space program is to make the first contact with the moon on the centenary of the Turkish Republic anniversary.
2- Establishing a brand capable of competing with the world in the development of new generation satellites.
3- Improving the regional positioning and timing system.
4 – Provide access to space and establish a spaceport operation.
5- Increasing our capabilities in space through investing in so-called space weather or meteorology.
6- Providing a more advanced level of monitoring and observation of astronomical and space objects from the Earth.
7- Development of the space industry environment in Turkey.
8- Establishing a space technology development zone.
9- Development of effective and competent human resources in the field of space.
