Turkey’s exports in lira reach 150 billion

The value of Turkish exports in lira in the first 9 months of the year amounted to 150 billion and 581 million liras (the dollar equals 27.7 liras).

According to information from the Turkish Ministry of Commerce data, the country’s exports increased last September by 0.3 percent, recording 22 billion and 670 million dollars.

Regarding trade in the Turkish lira, the country’s exports increased by 27 percent in September compared to the same month last year, reaching 20 billion and 342 million liras.

The volume of trade in September in lira reached 74 billion and 774 million liras, as imports recorded 54 billion and 432 million liras.

In the first nine months of the year, exports in pounds increased by 77.2 percent, recording 150 billion and 581 million pounds, while imports in pounds amounted to 416 billion and 73 million pounds.

The number of countries importing Turkish products in lira in September reached 165 countries.
