On Thursday, the public part of the “Savior-2022” maneuvers of the Turkish Navy began in the eastern Mediterranean.

The maneuvers began on May 22 and will continue until May 27.
26 observers from 12 countries are watching the maneuvers from the Aksaz naval base in Mugla, southwestern Turkey.

The countries observing the exercises are Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Ecuador, Indonesia, South Korea, Spain, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Poland, Pakistan and Jordan.
