Turkey… The Rescuing of 43 migrants whose boat engine broke down


Turkish Coast Guard crews rescued 43 irregular migrants after their rubber boat engine failed off the coast of the northwestern province of Çanakkale.


The patrol crews received a distress call from a group of irregular migrants after the engine of their boat failed.

It was explained that the teams went to the area and rescued 43 migrants of different nationalities, including women and children, who were on the boat.

After bringing them to land and completing the necessary procedures against them, the patrol crews referred the migrants to the state’s immigration department.
