Turkish chemical industry exports grew by 34.2 percent during the 11 months of this year, compared to the same period last year.

A statement issued by the Chemical Products Exporters’ Union in Istanbul on Saturday stated that exports of the chemical products sector in the country during the period from January to November of this year increased by 34.2 percent, achieving revenues of $30.7 billion.

He added that in November alone, the sector’s exports amounted to $2.6 billion, registering a growth of 9.9 percent compared to the same month of 2021.

While the chemical industry was the second largest exporting sector in November, it continued to maintain its lead over the eleven-month period.
