Turkey.. Rescuing 20 irregular migrants brought back by Greece

On Monday, the Turkish Coast Guard rescued 20 irregular migrants in the west of the country, after they were forced back to Turkish waters by Greek forces in the Aegean Sea.

It was reported that the Turkish Coast Guard teams received a report about migrants inside a rubber boat off the coast of the city of Gush Adasi, in the state of Aydin (west), and immediately went to the site.

He added that the Turkish coast guard rescued the boat with 20 irregular migrants on board (without mentioning their nationalities), who were forced by Greek forces to return to Turkish waters.

Rescue teams transferred the migrants to the Turkish mainland and referred them to the Immigration Directorate in Aydin.
