On Friday, Turkey recorded 157 deaths and 21,372 new infections with the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
According to data published by the Ministry of Health on Friday, 285,242 tests were conducted to detect the virus.
The number of people recovering from corona infection reached 16,492 people.

In terms of vaccinations in the country, the rate of vaccination with the first dose reached 70.41 percent for adults over 18 years old, while the percentage of recipients of the second dose was 52.21 percent.
One million and 139 thousand and 409 vaccinations were conducted with the vaccine in the past 24 hours, bringing the total vaccinations to 82 million and 621 thousand and 415.
