Turkey’s revenues from exports of furniture and paper products grew by 30 percent during the first half of this year, reaching $4.1 billion in revenues.
According to data from the Istanbul Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters Union, the sector’s exports for the first time exceeded the $4 billion mark during the first half of the year.

Last June, the sector’s exports grew by 30.7 percent, reaching $801 million.
In his speech, Ali Jan Doran, Vice President of the Federation, said that the demand for the sector’s products increased in conjunction with the boom achieved by Turkey’s exports in the recent period.
