Turkey continues to export cosmetics to various countries of the world, from which the number of importers of these Turkish products has increased to 120 countries around the world.
A few days ago, the Turkish state of Antalya hosted the activities of the Fifth International Conference on Cosmetics, which was organized by the Cosmetic Producers Association (KÜAD).
Speaking to Levent Kahraman, head of the Cosmetic Producers Association, the roots of the cosmetics industry in Turkey go back to the eighties of the last century.
He added that Turkey has 3,600 cosmetics manufacturing facilities on its territory, according to data from the country’s Ministry of Health.
He explained that many European and Middle Eastern companies continue to produce on Turkish soil.
In turn, Fuad Arslan, President of the Fifth International Conference on Cosmetics in Antalya, said that the sector witnessed significant growth during the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
He stated that Turkey exports cosmetics to nearly 120 countries around the world, most notably the United States, European countries, and the Far East.
