The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan.

According to the ministry’s statement, Turkey recognized the state of Uzbekistan on December 16, 1991, after declaring its independence from the Soviet Union on September 1 of the same year.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry praised its distinguished relations with Uzbekistan, which gained strategic status in 2017.
She also pointed to breaking records in the trade exchange between the two countries, as well as the development of bilateral relations at the political, economic, military and cultural levels.
