Turkey and Mauritania sign a cooperation agreement about education

On Friday, Turkey and Mauritania signed a cooperation agreement in the field of education on the sidelines of the third summit of the Turkish-African Partnership in Istanbul.

The agreement was signed by the Turkish Minister of Education Mahmoud Ozer and his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohamed Maa El-Enein Aye.

Ozer said in a speech during the signing ceremony that relations between Turkey and African countries have witnessed great development in recent years, which is an important success for Ankara’s foreign policy.

He explained that educational relations between Turkey and Mauritania are progressing within the framework of a technical agreement signed in 2005, adding that new agreements in this field will enhance cooperation relations and add new horizons and raise to higher levels.

On the other hand, a joint membership agreement was signed between the Turkish Radio and Television Network “TRT” and the African Broadcasting Union.
