A Turkish policeman was wounded on Thursday in clashes with members of the terrorist PKK organization in the southeastern province of Mardin.
It was reported that clashes took place between the Turkish police forces and members of the terrorist organization near the village of “Ay Tabba” in the countryside of the state.
The reporter, quoting security sources, indicated that a policeman from the Special Forces was wounded in the clashes.
The sources added that the policeman was taken by helicopter to the hospital in Mardin city center, where he is receiving treatment.
The sources confirmed that the security forces are continuing their operation in the area to pursue the terrorists.
