Turkey: a historic level of exports, exceeding 1% of the world total

Turkish Trade Minister Mehmet Muş announced on Tuesday that for the first time in the republic’s history, his country’s exports exceed 1 percent of the world’s total.

Muş indicated on his Twitter account that the volume of Turkish exports in 1980 was 0.14 of its global counterpart, and in 2000 it rose to 0.43.

He said, “Turkish products are now being exported to all parts of the world. This is a success for all of Turkey.”
