Turkey: 8 YPG terrorists neutralized in northern Syria

On Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the neutralization of 8 YPG/PKK terrorists in northern Syria.

The ministry said in a statement that the Turkish forces responded in kind to the YPG terrorists, after they targeted the area of the “Euphrates Shield” operation with mortars and rocket launchers.

She added that the Turkish forces were able to neutralize 8 terrorists from the organization, in addition to destroying a number of vehicles, according to preliminary data.

The Turkish army managed, through Operation Euphrates Shield, launched on August 24, 2016, to purify 2,055 square kilometers of land in northern Syria from the hands of terrorist elements.
